Refund Policy
Company: Soft Water Utah
Effective: August 2025
Contact: info@ezwaterutah.com, 801-633-7452
1) In-home sales: 3-business-day right to cancel
If a sale is made at a customer’s home or another non-store location after in-person solicitation, the buyer may cancel until midnight of the third business day after signing. To cancel, the buyer must send written notice to the email info@ezwaterutah.com. Refunds are due within 10 business days after we receive a valid cancellation.

2) Required contract forms and notice
For covered in-home sales, we provide a written contract that includes the statutory cancellation notice in at least 12-point type and two copies of a cancellation form with our mailing address. Until we provide these, the buyer may cancel by any method.

3) Limited exceptions
The 3-day cancellation right may not apply if the buyer asks us to begin emergency work immediately, we make a substantial start before notice of cancellation, and goods cannot be returned in substantially the same condition.

4) What happens after a timely cancellation
Within 10 business days of a valid cancellation, we return all payments and cancel any security interest. If goods were delivered, we retrieve them or accept their return. If any services were performed before a timely cancellation, we do not charge for those services.

5) After the 3-day window
All sales are final after the 3-business-day period, subject to manufacturer warranties and nonwaivable rights under Utah law. No refunds once equipment is installed, and no refunds on special-order or custom items disclosed as nonreturnable.

6) Service calls booked online or by phone
Service fees for diagnostic or repair visits are refundable only if canceled before our technician is dispatched, unless another law gives you a right to cancel. If a service visit also results in a covered in-home sale, Section 1 controls for the sale.

7) Federal rule reminder
For door-to-door transactions of $25 or more at a residence or temporary location, we follow the FTC Cooling-Off Rule, including disclosures and the three-day right to cancel.
